Two New GPS Phones From Nokia: 6710 Navigator and 6720 classic

Two New GPS Phones From Nokia: 6710 Navigator and 6720 classic Nokia has introduced today two smartphones with GPS and location-based services in the foreground. The 6710 Navigator is a slider, the 6720 classic comes as a simple bar phone.



The 6710 Navigator has the better equipment. The display is 2.6 inch tall, the classic is only 2.2 inch. Both have standard QVGA resolution of 240x320 pixels. Also there is the classic WLAN. Only when the battery power cuts the bars cellphone better. The smaller display is not only consumes less power, including the 1050 mAh battery with greater capacity. The rest of equipment is the same. Both phones have fast HSDPA radio, a 5-megapixel camera with autofocus and LED flash, a microSD slot, and of course A-GPS. As a Symbian S60 operating system is used. The slider is with 14.9 millimeters slightly thicker than the classic (14 millimeters), but both phones are so slim as anything.


The 6720 classic is already sold in the second quarter and 245 euros before taxes cost the Navigator appears only in the third quarter, with 300 euros more expensive. For the extra cost you will get not only better technology but also to better software. Navigator has a navigation license included for Nokia Maps 3.0 program. In classic for the voice route guidance you have to pay extra.
