The Japanese network user Softbank sells immediately Samsung i900 Omnia. The Windows Mobile-Phone Touch appears under the name 930SC. The most obvious difference: the touchscreen is now twice as sharp and has a resolution of 480x800 pixels. The Omnia, which is already sold in Germany and other European countries since August 2008, dissolves "only" at 240x400 pixels. The display diagonal is marginally grown from 3.2 to 3.3 inch.

In addition, the Japanese model has a MobileTV receiver. There is of course the question of whether a similar model will soon be sold in other countries. Similar as Nokia during its model leap from N95 to N95 8GB Samsung will bring a modernized Omnia into the shops shortly.
