Nokia presented six new mobile phones. They are however not exclusive, particularly meant for development and threshold markets in Africa, Latin America and Southeast Asia. The enterprise sells the individual models at prices between 25 and 90 euros.

The most expensive equipment in the program is Nokia 5130 XpressMusic, a name cousin of the success model 5310 XpressMusic. It is equipped with a music player, a UKW radio and a 2-Megapixel-Camera. In addition it orders over a 3,5-Millimeter-Buchse for standard headphones and a card location for microSD maps. External music keys facilitate the operation of the player in the bag. Quadband GSM makes that operational for mobile phone in the whole world, but data accelerator such as UMTS or HSDPA does not support the telephone. Nokia 5130 XpressMusic comes in the first quarter 2009 for approximately 90 euros into the trade.

Something cheaper and available sooner is the Nokia 7100 supernova. The slider also has a music player, an FM radio, but only a 1.3-megapixel camera. The 7100 is more supernova before the end of 2008 on the market, the price will be about 75 euros. The Nokia 2330 classic is to get for about 50 euros from the first quarter of 2009. It has a VGA camera and an FM radio with recording, plus dual-band GSM, GPRS and Bluetooth.  But that is available only in the second quarter of 2009 for around 40 euros.

At present the attractive offer of the Finns is Nokia 1202. Whether it appears however also in Germany, is doubtful. Nokia developed it particularly for the rural areas in development markets. Therefore it is equipped only with a mono chrome display and a Dualband GSM. As user surface Nokia Series 30 uses. The display can be used at the same time as flashlight and to be known up to five different persons on the mobile phone their personal directory to put on. Nokia 1202 comes in the fourth quarter 2008 for approximately 25 euros on the market. For approximately 30 euros the user Nokia receives 1661, a Series-30-Handy with color display and a UKW radio. The remaining equipment corresponds Nokia 1202. It appears in the first quarter 2009 in the trade.
