Plantronics introduces the Pulsar 260 Stereo Bluetooth Headset to the United States

ImageToday Planttonics announced that it will be introducing the Pulsar 260 Stereo Bluetooth Headset to the United States at the CITA Wireless Trade show in Orlando, FL at the end of March.

This new bluetooth headset will allow you to manage both phone calls and music, and switch between the two with the touch of a button.

Plantronics touts the following features on its website:

  • Compatibility with mobile phones featuring the A2DP Bluetooth profile
  • High-fidelity stereo sound and superior audio performance
  • Freedom to roam up to 33 feet from a Bluetooth device
  • Battery which allows for up to nine hours of talking time and seven hours of listening time
  • Inline microphone with call answer end button
  • Support for the Audio Visual Remote Control Profile (AVRCP) to allow customers to remotely control functions such as mute, volume level or track forward/back
  • Compact headset design for convenient travel and storage
  • Audio-out cable for connection to any 3.5 jack for full external stereo sound
  • Multipoint connectivity to actively pair with one audio device and one voice device

I think this will be a very useful bluetooth headset, if you are the kind of person who likes using them.  Personally, I can't stand it when people walk around with a big bright blue LED flashing in their ear, but maybe that's just me.  Check out Plantronics to find out more.
