| HP Introduces rx4240 and rx4540 iPAQ's in Japan |

HP is gunning to be the only one in the Pocket PC market with a number of devices available. HP has introduced the rx4240 and rx4540 Mobile Media Companions today. The Pocket PC devices run in landscape mode by default. They include 2.8" 320x240 pixel screens with 400 MHz Samsung processors. The rx4240 includes 128 MB ROM and the rx4540 also includes 1 GB of flash storage. Both devices include SD, 802.11g, and Bluetooth. Currently the devices are only offered in Japan, but it is rumored the devices will be announced in the US in a couple weeks. Read more at Brighthand... |
