Implementation of synchronization between the PDA and a personal computer. That is, updates the file system between the two media via the synchronization process. The ActiveSync is included with the software package standard Pocket PC operating system from Microsoft. Phones with features such as PC synchronization via ActiveSync technology help ensure that contact, calendar and e-mail information are the same on a person's smart phone and PC. "Synchronizing" quickly and easily transfers your contacts, e-mail, calendar and other files between your mobile device and your PC. Before synchronizing, it's important to know which version of Windows your PC is running. Your synchronization settings will be managed through ActiveSync if you have Windows XP or earlier; Windows Mobile Device Center if you have Vista.
